PEHEL

(PIONEERS IN ENVIRONMENT, EDUCATION, HEALTH & ENLIGHTENMENT OF LACKERS)

PEHEL is an acronym for “Pioneers in Environment, Education, Health & Enlightenment of Lackers.” It is registered as a charitable trust under the Indian Trusts Act under the name “PEHEL FOUNDATION CHARITABLE TRUST.” It is founded by academicians and experts from various professions, including engineering, medicine, law, sports, and business. The core areas of PEHEL Foundation's work are Environment, Education, Health & Well Being, Yoga, Meditation, Sports, and the Enlightenment of people (through Spirituality).

In addition, it also helps less fortunate members of society by conducting a variety of charity-based activities and events. The NGO seeks to mitigate the effects of climate change on Mother Earth and all her features, both living and non-living.

It has taken several steps to achieve this goal, including planting trees, raising environmental awareness among people, and conducting public campaigns to reduce pollution. The NGO also aims to create a healthy society by promoting a healthy & spiritual lifestyle encompassing yoga, meditation, organic food habits, and sports.

The NGO is optimistic that, in the future, it will bring about positive change in society, resulting in an elevated and enlightened life for people.

PEHEL Foundation's vision, mission and initiatives are closely aligned with multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

  • SDG 1: No Poverty - through charitable activities and support for underprivileged communities,

    Objectives

    ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY
    • Promote sustainable living practices in communities to minimize environmental degradation.
    • Establish eco-clubs in schools to foster environmental responsibility among students.
    • Organize tree plantation drives and restore at least 50 acres of deforested land annually.
    • Reduce plastic waste by encouraging the use of eco-friendly alternatives through awareness campaigns.
    • Reduce carbon emissions by advocating renewable energy.

    EDUCATION
    • Educate individuals on sustainable living practices and environmental conservation.
    • Arrange resources to educate children from socially and economically weaker section of the society.
    • Introduce mindfulness and self-awareness programs in schools.
    • Establish educational workshops focusing on environmental and spiritual topics in rural areas.

    HEALTH & WELL-BEING
    • Arrange nutritional diet for children and other needy people to combat malnutrition and ensure health and well-being.
    • Encourage organic and chemical-free consumption for healthy body.
    • Conduct health camps in underserved areas, focusing on preventive healthcare.
    • Reduce lifestyle-related diseases in communities by promoting a healthy and balanced diet and lifestyle.

    YOGA, MEDITATION, SPORTS & ENLIGHTENMENT
    • Train individuals annually in yoga and meditation for improved mental and physical health.
    • Organize sports events in local communities to promote physical fitness and unity.
    • Develop mindfulness programs for stress management in urban populations.
    • Organize spiritual programs to encourage people for a eco-friendly, non-materialistic, simple & enlightened life.

    संस्था के सदस्य

    1. संरक्षक सदस्य : संस्था की स्थापना करने वाले सदस्य संरक्षक सदस्य कहलायेंगे|

    2. विशिष्ट सदस्य : कोई भी व्यक्ति, जिसने संस्था को विशिष्ट एवं उल्लेखनीय योगदान दिया हो, इसका पात्र होगा | विशिष्ट सदस्य प्रबन्धकारिणी द्वारा मनोनीत किये जाएंगे | यह सदस्यता ग्रहण करने से लेकर उस वित्तीय वर्ष तक प्रभावी होगी |

    3. मार्गदर्शक सदस्य : पर्यारवण , स्वास्थय , शिक्षा , कला , खेल, समाज सेवा इत्यादि विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के अनुभवी एवं विशेषज्ञ लोग इसके पात्र होंगे | ये सदस्य संस्था की प्रगति एवं उन्नति के लिए मार्गदर्शन करेंगे | मार्गदर्शक सदस्य प्रबन्धकारिणी द्वारा मनोनीत किये जाएंगे | यह सदस्यता ग्रहण करने से लेकर उस वित्तीय वर्ष तक प्रभावी रहेगी |

    4. सम्माननीय सदस्य : संस्था द्वारा किसी भी व्यक्ति को सम्मानित करने के लिए यह सदस्यता प्रधान की जा सकेगी | सम्माननीय सदस्य प्रबन्धकारिणी द्वारा मनोनीत किये जाएंगे | यह सदस्यता ग्रहण करने से लेकर उस वित्तीय वर्ष तक प्रभावी रहेगी |

    5. साधारण सदस्य : संस्था की साधारण सदस्यता ग्रहण करने वाले सदस्य, साधारण सदस्य कहलायेंगे | यह सदस्यता ग्रहण करने से लेकर उस वित्तीय वर्ष तक प्रभावी रहेगी |

    संस्था द्वारा किये जाने वाले सामान्य कार्य

    • वृक्षारोपण तथा पेड़ पौधो का रख रखाव करना |
    • प्लास्टिक तथा अन्य पर्यावरण प्रतिकूल उत्पादों को कम करने तथा पर्यावरण अनुकूल उत्पादों को बढ़ावा देने के के लिए जागरूकता फैलाना |
    • स्कूली विद्यार्थियों को पर्यारवण संरक्षण के लिए जागरूक बनाना तथा पर्यावरण जागरूकता सम्बन्धी गतिविधियां आयोजित करना |
    • योग कैंप लगाकर लोगो को स्वास्थय तथा स्वस्थ जीवन शैली के लिए जागरूक करना |
    • खेलकूद इत्यादि गतिविधियाँ आयोजित करना तथा सुविधाएं विकसित कर खेलो को बढ़ावा देना|
    • शिक्षा से वंचित बच्चों के लिए शिक्षा की व्यवस्था करना |
